At Greenworld, social commitment is firmly anchored in our DNA.
We support charitable projects, promote regional initiatives and are actively committed to the community - out of conviction and with passion. For us, taking responsibility means not only acting, but also making a positive impact.
Greenworld has supported numerous charitable organizations at our production sites for many years - including the fire departments in Bobitz and Neustadt, the Bobitz sports club and the kindergarten in Sembach. Regional festivals such as the 800th anniversary celebrations in Neustadt am Rübenberge are also close to our hearts. With our commitment, we want to promote and sustainably strengthen local communities.
Greenworld has been donating organic potting soil to the EDEKA Foundation every year since 2012 to support the “Vegetable patches for kids” project.
As part of the project, the Hamburg-based foundation provides kindergartens and daycare centers throughout Germany with free raised beds as well as soil, seeds, plant seedlings and gardening utensils. The preschool children in the facilities are thus given the opportunity to sow, cultivate and later harvest their own vegetables. By actively experiencing nature and taking responsibility for their patch, the little ones learn how much care the plants need and, above all, where the vegetables come from - namely not from a can or the supermarket shelf. The project is part of the initiative “IN FORM - Germany's initiative for healthy eating and exercise” of the BMEL and BMG.
